What Computer School Can Teach You Computer school serves various functions, depending on what industry you plan to work in. Many people go to computer school simply to learn how to use the Microsoft Office Suite. Others go to computer school in order to understand basic information technology (IT). And still others go to computer school in order to complete advanced certifications in programming, Web design, or networking. What Computer School Can't Teach You Computer school can provide you with all the skills and knowledge you need to thrive in today's competitive global economy, but it cannot teach you how to apply that knowledge in every single situation. That's because technology, business, advertising, and science are all progressing at such a rapid rate that it is almost impossible for any computer school to teach you what trend or innovation is just around the corner. That said, you can take the skills that you do learn and search for ways to new capitalize on them. In this regard, a degree from a computer school is an extremely versatile and powerful certification.
